Our story began on a sunny summer day of '09 at the Proud American Days festival in New Lenox, Illinois.

Though we were from different towns, we found each other in the crowd, and some high school rivalry. Kevin claims that from that day, he was smitten. High school brought a few missed connections and unanswered invites, but fate wasn’t done with us yet.

We reconnected during a spring break trip in Naples, Florida, in 2011, where a casual hangout turned into hours of laughter and the spark of something real. After that, we both ended up at Arizona State, making memories at formals, Sun Devil game days, and late-night talks about our dreams, futures, and fears.

Life later pulled us in different directions—Olivia to nursing in Phoenix, Kevin chasing adventures from Chicago to California. The years apart tested us, but we never let go. Whether through random city run-ins, encouraging texts, or quiet check-ins, we stayed in each other’s hearts, knowing our story wasn’t over.

Then, at a mutual friend’s wedding, Kevin looked at Olivia and said, “You know… we should do this someday.” As in.. get married. That sweet moment led to two beautiful years of new adventures together. And on a beach in Hawaii, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever.

What makes us special is simple: through every twist and turn, we never stopped choosing to be each other’s best friend. Thank you for being part of our story. We’re so grateful to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
